Our Sustainability Pledge
As we are committed in operating in an environmental-friendly way, we have invested in eco-friendly equipment, such as LED lamps, solar heaters for hot water and energy-efficient AC units.
We also try to use eco-friendly detergents for cleaning our bed linen and towels, whenever possible.
BUT YOU CAN ALSO HELP!
1. Linen and Towels' washing
When in contact with sun-blocking lotions, linen and towels need to be washed two or three times, also using bleach products to to remove the stains. You can save massive amounts of water and energy by avoiding using towels or lying on the beds before washing off the lotions when possible.
2. Showers
Crete is under serious water shortage. Rationalizing shower time can help save significant amounts of water.
3. AC units
You can set the thermostat to not less than 24-25 degrees Celsius in A/C units, and make sure they are turned off when you are away from the house.
